Walkden is another example of a Greater Manchester suburb to benefit from a direct train route and dedicated, modernised bus inks as well as having close access to the motorway networks such as the M60 into the city and the M6 and M62 to travel across the rest of the North West.
As well as appealing transport links, Worsley is home to an affluent population, including some famous footballers. The area is a popular destination with the older generation for its beauty and calm demeanour. It is a picturesque area with Tudor buildings along a sweeping canal and green banks.
